I had preoperative appointment. I checked in 30 minutes before appointment. They called me in on appointment time at 11. I waited for doctor 1 hour and 15 minutes. They were having Thanksgiving potluck party laughing loud. After 75 minutes waiting I asked why doctor not coming in. They said wait just a few minutes more. I walked out. I could not trust the doctor or the staffs. I will just cancel the operation. Do not go there. Last time they cancel the appointment because they forgot to ask for authorization. Please do not go see Dr. Norris or Coast Urological Group. The care there and his medical skills and the way he treats patients is appallingly bad. And, the doctor's medical treatments exhibit a lack of medical understanding, despite him telling patients how great he is. I'd like to rate this group with a "zero," and for those of you who were not able to get an appointment, please consider yourselves lucky. This practice is not anywhere on the level of a quality medical operation.

We have tried to make appointments twice and the scheduler/receptionist is extremely rude, the one working today 9.21.23. Absolutely appalled at her attitude. We were unable to make an appointment. My fiancé was referred by his GP due to blood in the urine and a history of kidney stones. She would not make an appointment for him unless we had imaging. Never made it into see the doctor. The parking is blocked off and not clearly marked. There is a guard and that is when you find out they require you to pay. When I got the the reception there was a sign that it was the hospitals parking lot and they had no control over it. They do not validate parking. I was told I could go down and park in the street. Will notify my insurance that there is not adequate parking at this facility. No where on the website does it say there is a charge to park and to give extra time to park on ... read more

Dr. Hightower has one hand on the door syndrome. Rushed through the appointment, did not ask for history or information. Wanted to write a prescription without even checking for an infection. Worst doctor ever 10 minutes into appointment announced he had to leave for surgery do not recommend this office.
