I've been seeing Kenderlin for six months, and I now feel much better equipped to handle life’s challenges. She provides practical tools and 'homework' that translate perfectly to the real world. I truly appreciate her direct yet kind approach; she does more than just listen—she actively helps me challenge my thought patterns. I’ve seen significant improvements in my stress levels and my relationships.
This place is so much less stressful than the last clinic I was at. I work with Sammy Soza, and I feel comfortable sending a message if life is overwhelming.
Therapist Sammy Soza was very dismissive to me when trying to get seen for my foster son’s behavior problems. How he spoke and acted towards me was dismissive and he did not seem to take my concerns seriously when I would bring up behaviors that I was seeing and would just say “well you don’t understand the culture and what he’s been through” even though I actually have from my own experiences. I would not recommend for anyones children to see him. He is not helpful.
Ms. Yañez did all my credentialing for my private practice. This was no easy task, as I have been in practice for years, and there was so much to untangle that was done incorrectly. She created a shared spreadsheet that was frequently updated so I knew where we were in the process for each insurance. Even when I got the confirmations from the insurances that I was in network, she still followed up to double check. This was my most efficient & professional credentialing experience in my 30+ year career.
I have been working through severe trauma with Kenderlin Kelly for the past 6 months. I’m super comfortable sharing with her and she keeps me accountable without making me feel judged at all. She really understands and it feels like talking to a friend. After our sessions I feel more grounded, focused and optimistic. If I don’t have a session with her for a week or two I start losing my marbles!
