The Coast Inn in Prince George was the Grande Dame in her day. Although she is looking tired and worn. The hotel staff were ALL friendly and helpful for any questions I had. My room was very clean, well maintained with some nice amenities. I booked reservations at the Shogun for myself and friends. The food was amazing! The unfortunate reality as with all communities in our beautiful country is this hotel being centrally located in the downtown core of Prince George takes multiple hits daily from the roaming addicts. I stayed here for a work trip recently. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. What made the experience absolutely amazing and so memorable was Lisa the house keeper. She cleaned my room 2 days in a row and made me a turtle out of towels one day and chicken the next. She left a little note and just went out of her way to make my stay amazing. Lisa is a Rockstar employee and the Coast is lucky to have her.
