Room was clean. Hotel has an old, dirty smell. The room had a fireplace which was removed, with just an empty hole. The curtains in the room were broken and didn’t close. Elevators and pool out of order. The pool has not been open for several years. Do not recommend. Go to peace river, there are better options for similar or cheaper rates.
We've stayed at this hotel multiple times while visiting family in Grimshaw. While it is an older hotel, it has always been very clean and the rooms are quiet and very comfortable. Full size kitchen applicances and separate bedroom are great (we always choose the King Suite). Breakfast included meets our needs very well. Room was across from elevator and noisy.
The personne in charge made some racist comments… we had booked for 3 days for our buisness trip but we were enable to check inn. The blond lady at the front desk was very very very rude…. I served in the military for 20 years and I have been in buisness just as long and we never got treated like that. A very weild situation. I absolut’y do not recommend this hotel to anybody. Luc
