I have no problem with the dentistry services I received at this office, but the front office staff is absolutely awful. On multiple occasions they have been inexplicably rude for seemingly no reason. I just tried to reschedule an appointment and I used the number in the confirmation text which is an 877 number, the Coast call center, and was transferred to the office to speak with them directly. I always have had a good experience at coast but yesterday I went to have my tooth that was hurting looked at. The doctor said that I needed a root canal and gave me a referral. I would then need a new bridge afterwards. He told his assistant to contact my pharmacy for an antibiotic and something for my pain till I got the root canal. I waited for over 25 minutes while his assistant tried to order the pain medicine and antibiotic and she kept telling me it wouldn’t take and it was frustrating. Cleaning done with Edward Ramos went very well. Explained everything and no pain. The staff is very friendly.
I had a tooth sensitivity issue after refilling from daytona beach coastal dental. After first refilling, it was sensitive anytime chewing or cold water touch. Waited for a while but never gone away so got refill done again. I explained to the dentist assistant of the symptom and explain it feels as if there is an exposed nerve on the tooth sensation. what the assistant said was "no, all the procedure was done correctly there is no nerve exposed." They said I had 2 cavities. My teeth did not hurt before going here. After having the cavities filled my teeth hurt every night. Also during the procedure the dentist left to see two other patients. Made me feel like I wasn't a priority and now I'm afraid something's wrong with the feeling why else would I be in pain weeks later.
