The receptionist is the worst person I have ever talked to. Every time I call she tells me how they are short staffed. I called to get an appointment for an elderly person with heart failure and she said that they wouldn't even tell me if they had appointments due to hippa laws. Really? I can't set up an appointment for someone? If I am driving them? It's a dentist office not some major medical facility. I have been afraid of dentist all my life because of what happened to me at my forst dentsit when i was single didgits but Coastal Dentist is by far the best dentist i have EVER been to. The people are so nice, the place is so clean and they take good care of you! I loved them and i would recommand them any day! They were behind an hour but everyone loves them! My appointment was 12/18/15 @ 10:00am and im already feeling great!
One of The receptionists asked me to hold and I've been on hold for like almost 40 minutes for all I know the receptionists could be goofing off I'm still on hold trying to get back with him about my appointment for my follow up.

I have had ONE bad experience here, YEARS AGO, with a Dr who is no longer there (thankfully). I am now a patient of Dr. Taiwo, and I am actually HAPPY to go to the office now. She is GREAT, has a friendly staff, and I have NEVER had any hassles there at all. Everything is explained to me up front, the cost is explained before any work is done. I have no desire to go to any other dentist again!
I went to this place, under nearly emergency conditions. They told me one LOW price (incl xray) on the phone while setting up my first appt with them. After waiting nearly 2 hours to be seen,after xray,a tech came in with a $90 Bill. By the end of it, at check out I paid $48.They couldn't at any point give me a straight cost. When asked about their own advertised financing I was again given the runaround My " exam" was all of 2 minutes, reviewed xray, and never bothered to open my mouth. DO NOT GO !!!! I also wish I had read these reviews prior to a first visit. All employees hard sell every possible extra item and service to the point of making the customer feel guilty if not buying the gimmick. Mouth guards, cancer screening, fluoride, electric toothbrushes ..etc. They are on my dental insurance plan which offers 2 free to insured cleanings per year.
