when you get a tooth pulled they don't care if your in pain afterwards. do not recommend this location. Dr. Martin Luther King location does not care about their patients. They are sloppy and rude when you tell them that when they pull your tooth and your in pain. They don't care. They say go to the hospital if it hurts
Dr Chen is the rudest person in medical care that I have EVER encountered! Took two kids in for a root canal and was refused treatment because my children were supposedly rude. Truth is they were both in tears and anxious, one was given 5 shots and sent away, the other took a Valium (Dr Chen’s request) and was told “I’m just going to pull your tooth” as well as “I don’t have time for you”.... They seemed wonderful! I have extreme anxiety related to the dentist and they were very understanding and accommodating to the interventions I suggested because I know they work for me. I go back for a cleaning and some fillings so I'm hoping they uphold their initial best practices.
HIPPA laws are not taken into consideration at this location at all. They openly discussed mine and my son's insurance with a waiting room full of people and I wasn't even at the counter. Nevermind we sat waiting for his appointment for an hour and 45 minutes before he was seen.
Brought my son in for 2 out of his 4 root canals (so far) and he received very good care... Dr Chen prescribed and antibiotic and 2 Meds for pain (just in case he needed it) and he hardly felt any discomfort. Very Grateful for the kid gloves care he received!
