What can you say...... Transmission work is serious, and when you need it, you are about to pay a pretty penny, but what's more important is WILL the work be done correctly the first time. Tony and his family have literally owned this shop FOR EVER. When it comes to Transmission work, they know there $h!t Clean and nice facility, quick work as well. Been coming here for 7+ years for my business vehicles and can not be any happier...........unless he did the work for free, then I'll be happier! :)
As mentioned before in another comment, a rare experience! Enough to feel trust again when you take you car in to Coast Transmission. I am fairly knowledgeable about autos but I was totally stumped why my auto transmission stopped shifting. Tony figured it out. I thought for sure it was going to be a new transmission. $174.00 later my transmission is running like almost new - 10 year old car. THANK YOU TONY! For not just fixing my car but restoring my faith!
I will be re-posting this on Yelp, because everyone should know how excellent this place is. Easily the best experience I've ever had with any mechanic or auto-body shop in my life. I initially brought my car to the Ford dealership across the street for a busted transmission. $140 later for an initial diagnostic, they wanted $1,600 just to take the transmission apart, diagnose the exact cause and put it back together! I've had two or three transmissions rebuilt (it's been a while!) by these folks and received great, friendly service at a fair price. One of the few places I'll recommend to friends.
