My experience with The Co-operators, particularly their Client Relations team, has been extremely frustrating and honestly unacceptable. The front-line customer service is consistently rude, dismissive, and gives the impression that they simply do not want to help. This company is awful, their prices are high and unreasonable. I contacted them to get a new price as I was able to find better pricing elsewhere with the same if not better coverage, had me paying 215$ a month, when others were 80-120$. They refused and said they were unable to lower my costs. Then when I went to cancel, they charged me a cancellation fee even though I had just paid them for the month, so ontop of my 215$ they charged me 163$ to cancel. I am deeply hurt and disappointed by the way I was treated by The Co-operators. I have been a loyal client for five years, and I never expected to be spoken to in such a harsh and disrespectful manner. During my recent call, both Ati and Khadija were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Their tone and behavior felt discriminatory and offensive.
