I can’t say enough good things about Elizabeth — I could not have gotten through pregnancy and birth without her. From supporting me starting in early pregnancy all the way through birth, Elizabeth was truly incredible. We loved working with CNY Doula Connections as first time parents. We had so many questions & concerns along the journey & were provided with support & guidance by our Doula, Elizabeth Pratt whom we enjoyed working with. When we decided to have a home birth, it was a requirement by my Midwife that we hire a Doula. I remember vocalizing to my husband, “Why do we need a Doula if we’re hiring a Midwife & having our baby at home?” We weren’t fully educated on the role that Doulas play to support not only the laboring person, but the partner as well.
