Staffed by extremely kind, caring humans. Back in 2017, when my child was a baby, I had to bring him along to my psychiatrist appointments (upstairs @the Huron location) then I would go down to the crisis centre location to borrow books from their mental health library. They would give me a private room to feed him and even give me a bottle of water. Its horrible they have harmed me any way they can ,been abused by staff and the manager is worse ,ziv been left to die 2x here ,3 heart attacks kidney failure ,I'm always sick now than ever before ,have chronic back pain that's now mostly in my right hip and leg making difficult to walk and has been denied any thing and Everything they told me I couldn't even have a wheel chair and if I 53y3d to bring it in ,they wood have security stop me and u would think the niece who comes 2x awk got do something to help now they tell me... read more
I have been using CMHA's services since I was in highschool and continue to even now at 27. I've attended a lot of the groups and the staff have a lot of knowledge and compassion and just make you feel accepted no matter what. Some groups I learn new things about mental wellness, while in others I socialize or do physical activities with others for fun. They really do care about every person, and are open to feedback.
