The apartment came furnished which we thought was nice but the quality of the furniture was such that after 2 years the vinyl on the sofa had begun to peel and they withheld $500 our my daughters security deposit. Not happy! I could have bought them an old used sofa for far less.
As a student or young professional, please be very careful renting from CMB Management. Your time living at their apartments is average. However, if you plan to study abroad, accept an internship and/or job, or just need to sublease/transfer your lease, please do not choose this management company. I transferred my lease to someone else in March of 2020. I am still trying to get my security deposit back from CMB (apartment was left in pristine condition). RecommendedUnlike many other companies that I have dealt with, CMB Management has always been forthright and honest. They have shown genuine concern for any issues I have experienced and rectified the situation immediately. They were a few bumps at the beginning of the application process. They quickly smoothed them out even though it was through no fault of their own. These are marvelous people! I recommend them to everyone.
I am extremely satisfied with their services and communication. Both are highly responsive which is essential in this business.
Moved into CMB’s Eastwind sight unseen almost a year ago, and I just signed another lease today. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Maintenance requests and rent payments are easy online.
I moved into the Packard apartments around a couple months ago. I have had a great experience so far; the best part of that experience being when I won an incredible prize that I did not even know I was entered in—Ann Arbor apartments gives students prizes from a raffle and somehow I was lucky enough to win a scholarship from this!! Very grateful to live in these apartments and to have the competent staff members that work here as well.

If you’re renting in Ann Arbor area... you should really check them out.
I lived on one of their properties for two and a half years. The staff was always friendly and really seem to care about my concerns. I even ran into a month where times were a bit hard. Their staff worked with me and never made me feel uncomfortable. Great customer service and maintenance was always on call.
