RecommendedSo happy to see Cooper’s Barbecue open again! Food was just as I remember - excellent! Servers as friendly as always. Visited at an unusual time of day but thoroughly enjoyed it none the less. Already have plans to visit again next week.
I visited Clyde Coopers on yesterday and I was very disappointed 😞. I was excited to see that they were open, but my excitement quickly dwindled away. The barbecue was dry and flavorless as well as the macaroni and cheese. It was dry and the noodles were cooked to hard, very hard to chew. It was almost like chewing on rubber...no flavor. Needless to say that we didn't finish our meal. On the plus side the staff was great!
I'll never step foot in your disgusting place again. I live 3 blocks away and I'd rather starve.
Not at all friendly for people of color. Disappointing to have this kind of establishment in our town. Will no longer recommend or eat there.
I've been to Clyde's allot of and they have gone downhill recently
It's really bad bbq. Dry and bland. The sides seem straight out of a can/box. What most worried me is the owner Debbie Wray Holt doesn't like Black people and I would worry that she may do something to Black folks food. I also doubt she treats her employees equal when she obviously likes blowing dog whistles on Facebook. So, I'll never go back because the food is bad and the owner is racist.
