We love Clutch Hitter! Let me say this first, the staff here is awesome, always very helpful and friendly. If you forget your helmet or bat, they have them there for you to use (even some gloves that have been left in the lost and found). It's only a dollar for a round and they offer the most balls for the lowest price. Plus it is outdoors so it's great to see how far you can hit instead of into a cage like at other indoor facilities. Unfortunately, they share their indoor facilities (located on W. 94th St.) with Game Changers Sports Training, who were very rude to us upon our visit yesterday. The location itself was difficult to find in the first place, as the building is also shared with unrelated offices. The entrance is a side door with a small folding sign. Nothing beats an outdoor batting cage. This is the best I've been to. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Our daughter takes hitting lessons from Jim, the owner, and he is by far one of the top hitting instructors in the Midwest. Her hitting has improved as has her attitude toward the game, thanks to Jim. I strongly recommend Clutch Hitters batting cages.
Best Outdoor Batting Cages! – Clutch Hitters in Bloomington is the best outdoor batting cage I have ever been to. It is very affordable only $1 for 12 pitches. It is in the perfect location as well.
