Our Alumni Club (Michigan State University) started coming here for football and basketball game watches a couple years ago. We really struggled finding a permanent place to watch the games where we could depend on having sound, a place to watch if the game wasn't considered "big" and good food). we had quite a few bad experiences at other sports bars). One of my favorite places! I enjoy the fish tacos, the blue cheese burger (made with Mandy's secret additions) and best of all Mandy!!! I walk in and I am a greeted with a warm smile and quick service! I'm fickle with drink selection otherwise she'd have it ready before I sat down. I enjoy her immensely and it is one of the main reasons I continue to come back!
Great place for grownups to relax with friends and enjoy a few drinks, but also kid-friendly.
I'm always floored by how reasonable the tab is when I get it, anywhere else I would pay easily 10-50% more for the same great drinks and food. With directTV and comcast you'll likely find whatever game you want to watch there. It's a very welcoming place, it's family friendly and also serves food later than most kitchens. Lots of parking too, but easily bike and walkable in East Sac area as well!
