I understand the importance of being on time, but a strict 5-minute rule is not always reasonable. I was late only once, and it was just 6 minutes, but the instructor did not allow me to join the Pilates class. People who are more than 10 minutes late usually miss too much of the lesson, and I understand that. But being 1–2 minutes over the limit because of an unexpected situation should be considered. Sometimes things happen, and there should be some understanding

I had an extremely frustrating experience at this Club Pilates location. I booked my class through ClassPass several days in advance and received a confirmation. Then, Club Pilates canceled my reservation only about an hour before class. I didn’t see the email because I was already getting ready and on my way to the studio, so I arrived expecting to take the class. My experience overall wasn’t a great fit — the pricing felt high given the waitlisted classes and crowded environment. As a working mom with two kids, my schedule is very fluid, and the packed classes along with the strict cancellation policies made it difficult to participate consistently. I also didn’t feel the studio environment was set up to comfortably support members with that level of volume. I agree with the other reviewers about the front desk staff. The only person who made me feel welcomed was Nancy.

I have been to this studio for more than a year, previously with good experience and liked the coaches there a lot. Today The front desk lady didn’t let me in because I was late for 6-7mins, she said the rule is no later than 5 mins, she was with no empathy even I told her that I drove 15 mins on the snowing day to get there, the road condition was not good.
