A Brand New Look My husband and I go to Club NewFit in Newtown and enjoy the classes. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. The new owners just finished a beautiful renovation. The space is open and the colors are soothing to the eye. It's a great gym!!
Club NewFit is looking great!! I have been working out at this club for over 20 years and I can't believe the renovations that the new owners have done. The new space is beautiful and very well thought out. I love the openness of the upstairs, the juice bar, and the new entrance way. Anyone will be hard pressed to find a nicer more friendly gym in the area.
Renovated and beautiful! The transformation is amazing! My wife and I have been coming to the gym for years, and the new owners are fantastic. They are renovating it from top to bottom. They are also the kind of people who have taken the time to get to know the members and let us know they appreciate our patience during the renovation. Everything I could want in a gym is available- lots of equipment, racquetball & basketball courts, and lots of classes. They also have a kids room and the new cafe will open soon.
Club NewFit is worthy of 4+ Stars With the renovations and expansion nearly complete Club Newfit is definitely 4+ stars. The equipment and ammenties are part of it, but the staff and other members is what truly makes it special. Our entire family enjoys the club from spinning to basketball, and weights to running they have it all. Very happy member.
Club New Fit This gym has been completely transformed into a high end, luxury fitness facility unlike ANY in the area. It has been completely renovated and restructured, with amazing attention to detail. It's a spacious, 2-level loft-like space - large, bright and state of the art. Lots of windows, bringing the outside in. There is so much space and light that it never feels crowded, and it's a beautiful, renewing space to work out in. Crowded When looking for the perfect gym, I visited the Gym at Newtown, only to find a room crowded full of cardio equipment and and very outdated, sub-par workout space. I was not pleased with the atmosphere, nor could I see myself working out there. Although the Gym at Newtown was close to my home and reasonably priced, I opted to go to the Bethel Sportsplex instead.
filthy! I went to check out this gym and was surprised to find how unkempt and filthy it was. The ceiling was leaking and there was a squirrel in the women's room! Their equipment is very outdated and the carpeting was peeling up from the edges. I'd never join this gym.
