I called two years ago to obtain help for social skills because my child has major anxiety to approach to make friends. All they did was call once in awhile to see if i still needed service. Why are they around??? They may as well not exist. Do they realize a child gets older and it will be more awkward? I think they need some kind of service to get it together. Very disappointed. The place is terrible. There is no social worker who speaks other languages than English. I speak English and Portuguese but understand Spanish. I hope that i can get a Spanish social worker. I was told that social worker doesn't accompany clients with speech impairment to medical and specialist appointments
CLSC Benny Farm has provided truly phenomenal home care service for my parents. There has been a social worker, an athletic therapist, a physiotherapist, a nutritionist, an occupational therapist, a nurse, and a nursing assistant. All of them are kind, professional and communicate well with the whole family. Medical equipment was delivered quickly, without cost, to their apartment.
