Dr. Ford is great!
Last week, our cat got sick and had to be put down. Clovis Veterinary Hospital provided us with fast service to take care of him quickly. Then, they assessed our other cat to make sure her health was in good order. The office staff surprised me and my family with a card offering their condolences and a clay wall hanging with our old cat's name and paw prints in it. Great showing of humanity. I'm giving them a 5-star review for the way they handled a tough day for my family, especially for my children. Bravo.

Today my friend contacted me as she was on her way to rescue a kitten who was found with his hind legs and part of his tail cut off. While she and her rescue team, Shooke Unleashed Animal Rescue worked to contain the cat, we kept in touch trying to think of what to do since the regular rescue contacts were closed for business for the day. The average rescue cannot afford emergency room rates. The kitten was taken to Clovis Veterinary Hospital and treated by Dr. Les Morrow. He is a class act! I recently had to take my beloved family member (Luci) to be put down. She was 14 and struggling every day. As pet owners we all understand how hard this can be. First let me say that the staff knew why we were there and offered heartfelt condolences as soon as I arrived. I met Dr. Reagan, who was extremely kind and understood this choice was the best for my Luci. He explained everything with such compassion. I have been taking my animals to Dr. Kiem for several years now. He has been gruff at times, but always has my animals' best interest at heart. My cat just had surgery yesterday for an infection/abscess in his eye. He called and let us know as soon as the surgery was completed and gave us an update this morning. The cat is doing very well
