Going downhill... Used to be an awesome place to hang at back in the mid 90s with Doreen...miss that crowd...then it truly was bad for many years. The past year was pretty good with Turk but then they discontinued Saturday night karaoke. Most of my family just can't do Fridays so we go somewhere else now. They've lost a lot of business as far as I'm concerned. We all spend the same amount of money, just do it somewhere else now.
Welcome to the Toilet Bowl of Downriver bars. First of all, The karaoke sucked the last few times I've been to the leaf. Some rich dork buys 50 systems, out-bids real karaoke "hosts", and puts some tone-deaf twenty-something fat girl in charge of the "just press play button" at minimum wage plus all the beers her friends buy her for "being next up".
Cloverleaf the people that frequent this bar are friendly and they do have karoke but the crowd is made up of the older people. The prices are good, the selection is limited but its served cold and quick.
This place is fun! I never expected to hear such great karaoke. These people can sing their butts off and the drinks are cold and tasty. I had a really good time here and hope to go back soon.
Well let's be honest here... Business is BIGGER & BETTER THAN EVER! We've owned it for over 21 years now & Historically speaking, we remain the oldest bar Downriver. The Cloverleaf has been voted for by hundreds & won for BEST KARAOKE, MOST TRENDY BAR, BEST IRISH PUB & BEST BURGER by WDIV,"Detroit's vote for the best" since 2005 & winning each year after!
