I think the corporation takeover is the worst thing that could happen to our small town Storage Facility. A sudden raise in rent that is over 20% increase and limited accessible hours is not taking care of your customers. I will be moving all of my things to another facility. These are not "competitive rates". I am sure many will follow and this place will lose business.

I was in the process of closing my two units because they had served their purpose. For the short interim that Storage Star (as the new owners) conducted business there from the previous owners, and from my experience dealing with their onsite manager, they were extremely helpful & accommodating. - Amien, from Portland, Oregon

I started out with a storage rental for my things through Cloverdale Storage. Then Star took over. They required $15 for insurance, and within 1 month also raised the rent $20. What a joke!! I cleared my storage quickly.

Worst storage experience, ever. This place was fine until Storage Star and their greedy, incompetent, bad at business staff took over. Avoid at all costs, there are much better options close by!

no, no, no. you cannot treat your customers like trash and expect to survive in a small town. this is a corporate storage that bought out a family business and then raised rates on us, by a lot, overnight. do not do business with these kinds of people. no.
