I went kite and board shopping today and I wake into cloud 9 and no one said a word to me. I walked around for about 5 minutes looking at kites and boards. Two employees looked like they were helping one customer, but still no one looked my way. I picked up a few things to buy and stood by the register for a minute or two and still no one even said "we will be there in a minute" or anything. I dropped what I had to buy and walked out. Quality instruction, gear, knowledge, location. What more could you ask for? Took lessons with Kevin (a.k.a. Nylon Jedi), and not only were there giant smiles on my face, but also the amount of knowledge shared was incredible. Kevin was able to gauge my response rate, knew when I felt confident to move on, and the right time to add new skills to my arsenal of flight. He taught me important safety information, but more importantly, shared a love of flight and soaring that I cannot wait to encounter again. I will come back in ... read more
