The main function of the Clothing Cottage is to provide the community of Laramie with exceptional clothing (of new or nearly new condition) at extremely affordable prices. Thanks to the generosity of numerous donors (about 5,400 bags of clothing were donated this past year) you, me, and literally everyone else who lives in or comes through our community can find a high quality clothing bargain and can contribute to those in need.

RecommendedI love the clothing cottages. it's the only place I will donate my things to. when I first moved into town they helped me with things for my house asking for nothing in return.
The Clothing Cottage is on University, between 3rd and 4th streets (on same block as the Castle Church/Soup Kitchen). They sell gently used clothing, shoes, coats, accessories, books, bedding, and small household appliances for very reasonable prices! Formal wear is upstairs (prom and wedding dresses, for example). Free items are in the parking lot area (non-brand-name, or more than gently-used items) in center of block. This is also where donations are taken.
The folks that work there are the best, like family.
I went to donate TONS of items here; it was my first time, so I didn’t know where to go and/or put the items. I took my totes and items inside and the lady was EXTREMELY rude. She said “What are you doing?” And I said “I am donating these items” and she replied in a very rude way saying, “next time, donations don’t go inside, they go around the building in the back. Nice to have a place in town where you can save a buck, and know your money is really going to help local people...as opposed to the big box pseudo thrifts.... These are the guys who get my donations.
