Went to their Buy 1 Get 1 for $0.01 clearance event. I grabbed a bunch of clearance items and usually a store will sort the item according to original price, so if I have 2 x $10 and 2 x $5, 1 of the $10s and 1 of the $5 will be $0.01, well they said only the 2 $5 will be a $0.01. I guess they prefer keeping their stuff than getting money.
