They had to remove existing shelves prior to installing the new closet system. They removed the shelves leaving the scars on the walls exposed and then installed their closet system right over it. Unfortunately, the system has no rear wall so the scarred walls show right through. There is a long and fairly wide strip of torn wall that's visible in the master closet and two of them in the walk-in. Closets Together handled everything from beginning to end professionally. I was able to customize my closet to fit my needs, including shelves, hamper, and double rods. I’m able to use my entire closet, not just a portion of it. Their installer was pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. My closet was completed in less than a day. And all clean up was handled by their staff. I would suggest anyone looking to update their closet, to strongly consider Closets Together.
