I purchased a recoil for my push mower on April 10, 2020. Last night went to mow and would not start, took housing off and two metal pieces were laying there. Called the store and they would not honor a replacement saying, “I used it for 5 months, what do you expect? I did not make the part we just order them.” Well I expect it to work longer then it did, I expect you to sell parts that are quality, I expect you to honor replacements on items you sell that break. Great service. Had two new tires ordered and mounted in less than two days. Great price, very helpful and friendly people. I’ll buy all my lawn equipment there.
They told me my repair would be $50 less than it was, never called me to confirm the amount (they claimed they always call to confirm the amount over a threshold), it took 3 months to repair my snowblower. They are liars and crooks. Would never recommend them to anyone unless you want to deal with liars and get nickel and dimed
I went in there today clueless and hoping to get a replacement wire for my snow-blower!! These dudes went on a mission to find it with a sense of fun and never made me feel like ‘the know-nothing’ customer vibe that you get at a lot of specialty stores!! Even to their surprise they had the part!! Friendly, highly capable, and a super rad and clean outfit!! Will be recommending you HIGHLY!!
I've taken my mower in a couple of times for servicing. Frank, your service person, is outstanding. He greets you with a smile and looks you in the eye. He's very knowledgeable and the conversation is engaging. Frank leaves me with a great impression of Clive Power & Equipment.
