I was here for a total of 15 days in late 2021. It is very likely that things have changed but looking at the reviews, it doesn’t seem like it. Here are some of the MANY reasons why I believe no one should come here. 1) The main doctor was not there at all in the 2 weeks I was there. 2) I was in for a suicide attempt and desire to hurt others and myself however zero work was done and it felt more like a stay away camp rather than a health center. Giving this place a one star would be giving it too much. For starters, anytime an investigation is happening, or corporate is in the building they rush to change things so it seems like it’s been happening all along. Directors/higher ups will walk around all rushingly telling people they are in the building and to fix things before they get to that part of the hospital. My grievances 1. Conflicting communication I asked after my kid was admitted what visitor hours were. The person I spoke to lied to me and omitted that visitation was available on Sunday. I asked for confirmation and they said visitors were allowed only Wed and Fri 4-5pm. Also my kid was supposed to see a psychiatrist and we would receive a call between 8am and noon. terrible environment, sometimes hostile/judgemental staff with their own issues that kids have to tiptoe around to feel safe, sometimes unpleasant wakes in the middle of the night from staff who cant get their tablet to connect to the anklet, and even worse sometimes techs touch you to wake you up which is a huge no no in a unit with so many sensitive kids with their own traumas. staff will force you to get out of bed and rip blankets off of you if you're in a funk and cant get up, and kids who should be touching grass, soci... read more
