We would strongly advise against using Clintonville Animal Hospital for your primary pet care, specifically Dr. Robert Weller. Due to misinformation and carelessness in diagnosis and treatment. our dog died an unexpected and painful death. While their services are fine for basic treatments such as annual shots, and their techs and receptionists are wonderful and kind, our experience with Dr. Weller in an emergency situation was troubling, full of vague advice, and seemingly not taken seriously enough. I have followed Dr Horne through the years and just love her personality, experience, and care with all animals, especially large breed dogs. Even during this Covid time, so glad to have visited her practice with my mastiff mix Darla. Thank you staff for your attentiveness; and also the welcome gift, a framed picture of my pup. (That's her shark look.)
A great vet office! I was in need of a new vet fast after adopting a rescue, they got me in right away and were so helpful with all my concerns.

i can’t say enough about the staff at this vet hospital. our dog was recently diagnosed with addison’s disease and had to be hospitalized overnight. she’s a very nervous dog and has never been caged before and we were very nervous for the process. the staff treated her with kindness and respect. they let us visit her before they closed and let us bring her items from home. our dog doesn’t bond with very many people and when we showed up to visit, she immediately went up to the vet tech, mary, that had been helping care for h... read more
