Ikoyi Lounge is now renting the retail space. They have their speakers against the ceiling so the bass from the lounge reverberates all throughout the building. I live on the 9th floor and on Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun it's basically inescapable. They turn the music the loudest after 10 pm. On Fri/Sat they're open until 3AM. When you ask them to turn it down they get angry or just tell you to call the police. Leaving this review based on visiting and the application process with management. When I went to tour the apartment it was very lovely. Central location, welcoming lobby, security system, elevator, gym with lots of equipment, decent laundry and a organized package mail room. The units have high ceilings, huge windows and updated appliances. The windows open wide and there are no screens or safety. The property manager was kind to show me two of the apartments. The apartments are beautiful loft like apartments with large windows and high ceilings. Conveniently located downtown Newark close to shopping and transportation. Management continues to upkeep and beautify the building in an on-going basis. We enjoy a large gym, game area, and laundry on premises. And the building is pet friendly!
