I applied for an apartment and make the 3x’s the rent, as required. I was denied for the first time in my life even though I have a very high credit score and have never missed a payment on anything in my entire life. The unit I applied for is now no longer available online, so it seems more than one person applied, they collected the non-refundable deposits and then gave one person that specific apartment. Would not recommend. Here’s my thorough review. I lived here for what would have been going on year 3 this year, but I can no longer afford it. Rent increases are crazy considering nothing in the unit upgrades and the complex itself continues to worsen. The FEES. When I first moved in, the carport was a free amenity with the apartment and after a year it became a $25 charge. Water fee can cause your rent to fluctuate based on usage. I’ve had an amazing experience living at Clinton Place Apartments. From the moment I moved in, the community has been welcoming and well managed. The property is kept in great condition, and the staff truly cares about the residents. Sherrill, the manager, has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my time here. This place is getting the rating it’s getting (which is better than what you would have originally got, 1 star, if it wasn’t for the things outlined below.) The GREAT: -Quiet neighborhood, I lived here for 2 and a half years and the neighbors were all friendly and it was very quiet here. -the maintenance guys always came on time(even when they would rotate) and always fixed problems immediately. Have to give kuddos to property management Sherrill and maintenance Andrew and Matt. Recently transfered into an fully renovated apartment and she has been very helpful with any issues or concerns. She has been nothing but outstanding into making a smooth transition.
