Had an appointment, waited to be called up, I get called up, waiting for dr to show up, an hour passed from my original appointment time. I got seen quick by dr with no effort, then acted like they didnt know what I was there for which was a blood draw. They then proceeded to tell me the person that does blood draws is not there today. Mental Health came up like it always does in an intake. I mentioned that I struggle with depression and anxiety but I've been seeing the same therapist for 3 years now and it's made a huge difference. He asked me 3 times "But why do you NEED a therapist." In a tone that implied I shouldn't. I reiterated that I struggle with depression and anxiety. His response repeatedly was, "But why?" over and over in a very judgemental tone. I love my doctor Gutierrez! He is compassionate, shows genuine concern and truly cares for all his patients. Very professional. I feel like family with the kind staff. Never feel rushed. I'm a Chaplain and highly recommend Dr. Gutierrez.
