Care providers are great, however no 5 stars because there's a lady who usually answers the phones in the first half of the day that I find to be generally less helpful than the gentleman we see at the desk in the evenings who is awesome and very helpful
Absolutely abhorrent experience. I was with MHP/Clinica for ten years, and they kept cycling me through misdiagnoses until I ended up getting an outside expert's opinion. I am very honest and open about my life, I don't hide my symptoms, and I feel like they severely dropped the ball. They put me on tons of medications over the years that were extremely detrimental, despite me telling them I have reacted poorly to those types of medications in the past. For the most part happy with the service. Definitely have to add that their caseworkers are lacking considerably. Literally asking the same questions in every single visit and not doing anything about it. Telling you they’re going to help you with your resume and then not. Telling you they’re going to help you with getting a cot for your vehicle if you live in your car and then not. It took FIVE appointments to do my intake and assessment before I could get any help. I'm pretty sure they charged Medicaid highly for each one. During that entire time with counselors, we were on track and in agreement for me speaking to a therapist. Met with the lady who PRESCRIBES THE MEDICATION, not a therapist in any way. . . I had to tell her what prescribed medication I had tried and worked, and she just goes, "Well, we'll just try that again." Wow, thanks for your expertise. I could have written the Rx myself.
