Dr. Shumaker, nurse Halea, and the rest of her staff are just wonderful and have always treated me with kindness and respect. I always feel like they listen to me, give me the information I need and leave time for me to ask questions. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for GYN or OB care!
I deeply regret scheduling my annual gynecological exam at this clinic, for several reasons. Overall, the clinic appears to be simply too busy to provide adequate patient care. This includes difficulty reaching the office by phone, very poor communication with front desk staff (Amarri sounded being simply annoyed by my call regarding the labs results), long wait to be called in for appointments, and extended delay in receiving lab results and prescriptions. took over a month to get an appointment. they are very disorganized so good luck if you have to have records transferred to their office. office staff is very very rude. when you talk to them they make sure you feel like you are inconveniencing them. they will not work with you on scheduling at all. i hope the doctors are more professional than the office staff. good grief.
So disappointed! I was told about this practice from a colleague and they spoke highly of this practice. I waited in the lobby for over 40 minutes just to be told that they were running behind.
I had an appointment with Christa Littrell and it was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had a gynecologist office, and I specifically went to her because I was looking for a female after feeling like men gynecologist just couldn’t help me because they don’t understand. The front staff and the nurses were all very friendly and polite, and once I got into the room, I waited almost an hour for her to come in.
