Good people, they just take forever. I had appointment at 2 and I didn't get a room until 3.. waited in said room for 20 minutes before the doc came in. Hour and a half is just ridiculous. I was more than on time for my appointment.
Reception is pretty nice and the female nurse i spoke to was as well. As far as Dr.Rushing I would recommend him to no one. He performed my Pap smear and catheter removal. During the catheter removal, there was no communication or warning beforehand. Immediately afterward, a speculum (pap device) was inserted quickly, removed, and then reinserted due to dryness ig, again without explanation or pause. A finger exam followed with no verbal warning. Dr. Shumaker, nurse Halea, and the rest of her staff are just wonderful and have always treated me with kindness and respect. I always feel like they listen to me, give me the information I need and leave time for me to ask questions. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for GYN or OB care!
I deeply regret scheduling my annual gynecological exam at this clinic, for several reasons. Overall, the clinic appears to be simply too busy to provide adequate patient care. This includes difficulty reaching the office by phone, very poor communication with front desk staff (Amarri sounded being simply annoyed by my call regarding the labs results), long wait to be called in for appointments, and extended delay in receiving lab results and prescriptions. took over a month to get an appointment. they are very disorganized so good luck if you have to have records transferred to their office. office staff is very very rude. when you talk to them they make sure you feel like you are inconveniencing them. they will not work with you on scheduling at all. i hope the doctors are more professional than the office staff. good grief.
