BEWARE POTENTIAL SCAM I received a notice that I didn't pay a toll but my credit card clearly has a charge from ITR CLINE AVE TOLLS. I talked to customer service and they immediately started asking for personal information. After I refused to share out of fear of a scam, I was told to dispute it with my bank as they don't have a toll booth. A toll road without a toll booth? I received a notice saying I didn't pay a toll.. This was the third notice (so they say) but it was the first I received at the time it was around $45 roughly $5 for the toll the rest was fees. So I called to dispute the charges was told to contact E-ZPass which I did back on 3-30-22. E-ZPass emailed me a log showing I've had my pass since 2012 and never took this bridge as long as I've had my pass so I sent a dispute on their site with proof from E-ZPass.Fast forward to today 7-14-22 CAB has a hold (for $50 or so) that's pr... read more

I have been billed by the Cline Ave. Bridge, but I never encountered a toll request nor am I even aware I crossed such a bridge. I have receipts for all my tolls from IN to ******* and back and Cline Ave. Bridge was not among them. I feel this is a scam. Is it legal? Is it legitimate?

They send a **** for unpaid toll over 3 months after the transaction even though i have an EZPass account in good standing tied to my credit card to replenish funds and also my plate # is on my account. They also charge a $15 fee for not paying and them sending you a notice. This seems to be a scam. I've tried calling to take care of this and they just point you to their website to file a dispute which I've done and it's still pending for review after 4 months. Clearly a project planed to scam those unaware of this type of toll protocol. Avoid utilizing this roadway at all cost - I know I will now each time I visit *******. Same on anyone in public office that supports this unethical practice.
