I had a new heat pump installed by midlands air 3 years ago..they said parts are covered under warranty for 5 years and if something happened I would pay labor cost only..the motor died after 3 years and they need to replace it..tech said would take less than hour to install...he said labor cost is 409.00...not kidding..I spoke with the gym and he said labor includes receptionist doing paperwork..driver brining motor..processing..and installation....409.00..I asked if they could ship me the part since it's under warranty and... read more
Poor service – Strike Three!!!!! Third time. Was able to get them out after haggling with there superviors. To tired now! They are unable to keep appointments as scheduled. Supervisors and Technicians and call center have poor communication. If you speaking with a technicaian, usuall indicate they have the technicians, but the company doesn't want to pay them. Service Ripoff Experts – Do not let these people into your house! They are true scam artists. Last year, we had problems with our AC blower motor. We made the mistake of calling "Service Experts- Midlands Heating and Air Conditioning." Had I been wise and read the previous reviews here and in other places, I would've run. Wonderful scam artists!!! – I contacted Midland Air back in the fall to schedule an appt for them to come clean my heating and air unit. After all was said and done they stated they cleaned the unit (and I found out later it had'nt been even cleaned) and recommended that I put in a whole new unit because they found mold and stated my system was 60% blocked. Crooks and a Rip Off! – When my husband and I called Midland Heating and Air regarding our unit freezing up, they sent a tech out immediately. When the Tech arrived he went straight up stairs to the the air-handler. Not 2 minutes after being up there he states "oh no". He then comes down and said we have mold in the air handler and that we need a whole new unit. He starts to show us the units and recommends that we get a $9000 unit for a house that is only 1200sq. pricey, nickel and dime the customer – When our heat went out, I was really happy that Climate Masters could come out that day and fix it. The technician was really nice and replaced the filament on the upstairs furnace for $290: $100 for diagnostics and $190 for the part and the instillation. It was a little steep, but I understood and it was about to snow. Roanokes Most Respectful and Outstanding Service Technicians – During an extremly cold and wet evening, my home furnace stopped working. Shortly after a call was made to Woods Heating and Air a Service Technician Arrived at my Home. This service technicians name was Mike Gregory.
