My experience with Dr. Clifford smith was outstanding. On my initial appointment, he thoroughly explained the procedure for repairing my hernia. I had to reschedule several times and Dr. Smith and his nurse Barbara understood my reasons and were extremely helpful in rescheduling me. I was in contact with Barbara throughout, and she was cordial and friendly and willing to help. I had the surgery three weeks ago and I have had very little pain, and everythings went smoothly. My husband recently seen Dr. C. Smith and was enormously impressed and that is hard to do . My husband went to his appointment with a certain expectation and left exceedingly impressed by the whole process from appointment to testing so impressed that he is willing to drive back to Richmond just to continue the amazing treatment he receives from this office.
Dr. Smith is the best. I'm excited to have him as a provider because I know my concerns will be addressed and that my health is a priority to him.
When I called for an appointment, the receptionist was warm and caring. Upon arrival, check-in was quick and easy. Wait time was minimal. Dr. Smith was patient. He took time to fully explain tests and possible procedures to correct my concern. He thoroughly answered questions to the point we never felt rushed. I would recommend Dr Clifford Smith to all my family and friends.
Friendly and attentive to my needs. Suggestion: need to develop program for background information to share with hospital so it does not need to be done 2 times.

Didn't remember anything about the surgery since I was under general anesthesia, but I have had no complications and had not needed any medications post procedure so I can only assume everything went well.
Dr Clifford Smith is awesome. He listens well and sort treatments carefully. I did the 24 hour ph probe and the barium swallow X-ray which showed a recurrence of a Hiatel hernia. So Dr Smith carefully discussed the options. So I did the redo of the Hiatel hernia. He explained the surgery to me (laparoscopic nissen fundoplication)and made me feel confident and comfortable and reassuring. I was up and about within hours of surgery. All symptoms are gone. I recommend Dr Clifford Smith all the way.
I found my initial contact informative and was impressed with the attention to detail and clarification that was given to me by Dr Smith. I would certainly recommend him to anyone questioning their Health challenges.
