Excellent doctor who spends time explaining the surgery, cancer and helped me get through a difficult time.

I had some very painful rectal issues that had me in tears! Dr Simmang diagnosed me quickly and scheduled surgery for the very next day. He did a wonderful job! His staff is very very courteous and friendly and comforting. I would highly recommend Dr Simmang if you have any colo rectal issues. I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff!!
I have known Dr. Simmang since August of 1999 when I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. He is the most competent and caring surgeon you will ever find. If you need any thing from a colonoscopy to the most major of surgeries, this is the Doctor you want to do it. My surgery was one of the most complex that you can have. If you can find a better surgeon than him, good luck with that. He has always made me feel as if we are friends and treated me with the utmost care and understanding.
He is The BEST DOCTOR.
I was very nervous about getting a colonoscopy screening as I had put it off for seven years. I finally decided I needed to do it and did a little research and saw the great reviews for Dr. Stadler. On my initial appointment the office staff were very professional and helpful and upon meeting the doctor I felt like I had made the right choice. My procedure went well and all the staff and nurses and involved were great and put my mind at ease. He is one of the best!!
Absolutely awful experience! From start to finish, there were a sequence of errors that are frankly alarming. At this point, I will feel lucky if I just get back to feeling how I did before the surgery. I suffered internal bleeding that required blood transfusions even though the dictation says the estimated blood loss was minimal! In the hospital, I discovered that I wasn't even getting some of my normal medications. The surgical competency is clearly lacking based on the available evidence.
I saw Dr. Simmang to get a second opinion and was SO impressed by hiw he spoke to me, explained things to me and with his overall genuine care for me that I set up an appointment for him to do my surgery. His office staff were so kind and helpful! Thank you Lisa for finding a place to get me in for surgery quick. Thank you Nicole for being kind and taking the time to explain some medical questions and concerns I had, you eased my mind!
In spite of being a very busy surgeon, dr. SImmang makes you feel you are his only focus to heal and take care of you. I was very blessed to have him as a surgeon and he saved my life. Thank you dr. SImmang.
