Very professional, has good bedside manner. Was super nervous about having my tonsils removed but he did a fantastic job lightening the mood and making me feel more comfortable before and after my surgery. He’s very thorough as well. Never been more happy to normally breathe than now!! My tonsils were very enlarged and I had little to no space in my throat to breathe at all, I am so proud to say that Dr. Amoils gave me the opportunity to breathe comfortably and enjoy my life more now. Two of my children (7 and 10 years old)underwent tonsillectomies by Dr. Amoils. He is great with kids. He called me multiple times late at night and early morning unsolicited to check on my son whom had some complications after surgery. He even consulted his colleague after hours to insure the best course of aftercare for my son. Dr. Amoils and his staff are outstanding. I learned about Dr Amoils after he reconstructued my nephews face after a bad car accident. Eight years later, Dr. Amoils removed two very large size polyps from my sinuses. From the time of my first appointment to the time of my surgery, I was looking at two weeks. Dr. Amoils is amazing! I needed my tonsils removed at 19 which is not easy, but he was very helpful and caring throughout the whole process. The surgery went great. He’s the best, highly recommend him!
Had endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, bi-lateral. Not the results I was hoping for. Actually have more chronic symptoms now. Dr. seems disinterested. Very disappointing.
I waited over a month for an appointment with Dr. Amoils specifically because I read good things about him. Well, I was disappointed with the quality of care I received after my wait. The appointment was rushed through, barely lasting 10 minutes, and cost over $200 when all was said and done with my insurance. After suffering for years with clogged sinus's and ears, Dr. Amoils performed the Balloon Sinuplasty. I was given medication that made me woozy but was awake thru the whole procedure. No pain and I was told what was being done. The surgery went very well and recovery was rapid. I had the surgery on Friday and back to work on Monday. Most important of all is that after less than 4 weeks, my sinus and ears were totally clear. No medication needed. I highly recommend Dr. Amoils - great doctor!
Dr. Amoils recently performed Balloon Sinusplasty in his office to relieve my chronic sinusitis. A catheter was inserted into my sinus passageways via my nostrils, then a balloon was inflated to open the passageways and then they were flushed. I took prescribed sedation medication prior to the procedure & it took less than an hour. Recovery was quick and painless. Thanks Dr. Amoils!
I would like to thank Dr. Amoils and staff. I have been having breathing problems for 3 years. I have gone to other ENT Dr.'s and no one has helped. When I finally went to Dr. Amoils office in Palmdale for the first time, I was greeted with a smile from the staff and I only waiting 3-5 minutes before they called me back.
