I grew up in the UK and worked with my father, a master plasterer, for several years. I learned the construction business in general, but specifically learned from fireplace contractors to understand the workings of fireplaces and ways of transforming dysfunctional fireplaces into fully working ones, capable of giving out the most heat. I hired cliff townsend masonary because he was very flexible on his tight schedule. I explained to him my immediate need and he graciously moved his schedule aroun d to accomodate my needs. He was very personable, and it was nice hearing about his past life in England.
Very helpful is choosing appropriate stone for the job. The price was less than we had anticipated.
We didn't need his service so he was not scheduled. A simple sweep and cleaning was all that was required this time. Thank you...Rex
