Cliff Brown Automotive I highly recommend this shop. I have been going here for over three years. At first I went to them because I lived close by in University Heights, however, even after I moved to east county, I continue going there because not only are their time estimates very short, but usually they complete the work ahead of time. The costs are very comparable to other shops, and they use the flat rate to calculate costs, rather than pay hourly. Very friendly I like going to Cliff Brown because of their genuine honesty and friendliness. The first time I was there, I saw an elderly customer pull up in a new car and she asked if the serviceman could help screw on her new license plate. He did it for free and couldn't have been friendlier about it. That really impressed me. I have experienced the same level of service. Also good prices on smog checks.

Cliff Brown's (ak/a Barry's) Somehow, someway Cliff Brown was recommended to us and we've never looked back. You will never take a risk with the folks at Cliff Brown, (especially Barry and Al) they are the BEST. They kept our son's used vehicle running like a charm until he could purchase a new vehicle. I can remember we were living in Florida at the time and our son called, indicated there was a problem, we said call Barry. unhappy I do not like this business for auto repair. They charged over $ 600 for an clutch replacement job for the transmission in one visit and over $ 400 for an electrical problem, including an alternator replacement that I found later did not need to be replaced and was missing a part after a battery charge after refusing the repair be done due to not believing them and not having any way to pay them over $400 for the repair job in a visit 4 four years later on the same used truck.

Speedy service. I was very satifised with my visit here. Although they don't have the cheapest prices, I was able to get a lot of repairs and replacements done to my old car in a very reasonable amount of time. There is also a coffee shop across the street where you can wait while they fix you car.
