The “providers” here are extremely condescending and do not listen to patients. They lack empathy and caring. I expected better from Cleveland Clinic.
On June 23rd I took my son to the Cleveland clinic Lorain Express Care because he was having a severe Poison ivy reaction. His hands were swollen To the point that he started losing circulation in them. Blistered and cracking, Christina Watkins, APRN.CN prescribed him an ointment, I asked specifically if he could be prescribed an oral steroid To stop the poison ivy from spreading any further And was denied. Had a great experience during Thanksgiving break. Was in & out.Personalabe, & listened to my concerns. I'd go back!
DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE. This is the second time I've had a bad experience here. This time I went in with what was clearly a secondary infection - something that had started as a typical cold six days prior, with small fever, sore throat, etc. Had gotten better for a couple of days then suddenly worse, turning into full-blown pharyngitis and a terribly swollen and sore throat and I'd begun to wheeze and was coughing up colored phlegm.
