How does the Cleveland Clinic live with themselves. You want patients to pay up front prior to being seen. Then you charge 3X’s for procedures that have been completed a few months prior before the upfront payment demand. Then they blame your insurance. The insurance states it not them that the billing department is using a new tax id and billing minor things as procedures done in the hospital. At what point do you put patients first? Place is a joke I get it they are a hospital that does a bunch of great things but the monopoly they have on parking should be illegal I have paid over $50 in parking in 2 days what a joke I'll never come back here or to Cleveland in general they are rude they charge u for everything when u have nothing what bunch of malarkey
It has been over a year since I tore my meniscus and I am paying for it, in more ways than I could have imagined. I was approved for financial assistance and sceduled an appointment with an Orthopedic Dr. through Cleveland Clinic, after x-rays and an MRI, I was then scheduled with a surgeon. I had a past surgery at the Cleveland Clinic a wire was left in me and it has now migrated to the right Atrium of my heart. My cardiologist referred me to Dr. Aravinda Nappandappa an interventional cardiologist. He was going to snare the wire from a vascular approach..He thought I also had polycystic kidneys and was concerned about that causing an aneurism, Unbelievably he wrote an order for an MRI of my brain! This would have killed me! This order remained on my chart for 10 months!
