Dr. Patel did three (3) hip replacements on me between 2021 and 2022. He had to do the 3rd one because he botched the one in my left hip and had to re-do it. But he never took responsibility for it—said it was someone else’s fault for implanting a cracked bone as a replacement. Today, I still have balance and pain issues in BOTH hips. Shame on me for not going to U of M down in Miami, because I live in Weston where Cleveland Clinic is..
This google review is not intended towards any Orthopedic physician at Cleveland Clinic but rather the Cleveland Clinic billing process. I was told by both BCBS and the Cleveland Clinic that the Orthopedic physicians were in network. My co-pay would be $50 for the visit and $250 for the x-ray. What they do not tell you is that seeing a Dr in the Drs office you are charged a facility claim and a hospital outpatient fee. They had me get an xray and then the doctor came in , he Said you have no arthritis in your hip, I said I'm here for the pain in my hip and groin he said I was fine without even examining me . I asked do you need another mri he said no ( I brought in a mri from last year). Than he walked out of the room. As a handicapped woman I am so upset to take the time to go the doctor to not even be examined only dismissed. Maybe he thought I was seeking drugs which shows he never looked at my chart as I take no narcotics. My muscle on... read more
