Went in for nausea/vomiting/GI upset. I had thrown up in the room and right after the PA tried to discharge me. Then, I had a random person that wasn't introduced to me prior come into my room, didn't say anything and just started injecting me with something through my IV without telling me what it was. Turns out it was a sedative/tranquilizer???? I had in immediate reaction and very intense panic attack and felt like I couldn't breathe. I told this to the man and he says, "That's normal." Nearly killed my little sister ignoring what she had to say. She sepsis, and they just sent her away with a "urinary tract infection". Thank God southwest knows how to listen to people, and do proper tests.
I had a horrible pain that was not in a great spot , I was pretty embrassed , was also my first time at the er alone . They got me treated in less than an hour , kept making jokes , assured me it was normal and happens , they were so kind to me. A amazing experience!
