Went in for an ultrasound referred by my OB and felt very dismissed and rushed. Radiologist didn’t even come in to scan me after the tech like they are supposed to. I’ve never left somewhere absolutely disgusted as I did with this appointment. When dealing with something as worrisome as a cancer scare it should be handled differently.
I was referred for a mammogram and ultrasound after my PCP done a breast exam. I waited for 1 hr before being brought back with an ultrasound tech Sierra who had absolutely ZERO bedside manner, especially to work in a faculty for breast ultrasounds, women who are already terrified. Sierra told me that 28 year olds don’t usually get mammograms and after I expressed my frustration that my doctor specifically sent me to have a mammogram and ultrasound she said I’ll go talk to the doctor, I stood in that room for another 10 mins... read more
This was my second time visiting here and I was very pleased. There was a small clitch in the system but it was resolved quickly. Barbara, out front, is perfect for her job. She worked the room and got everyone where they needed to be, and my technologist, Cindy, was also wonderful. She made me feel very much at ease in an otherwise uncomfortable situation.
