Mother was inpatient hospice. Despite her aspirating a couple hours prior he would not let the nurse put an IV in due to inability to swallow. (Mom was 91 and 70 some pounds.) Due to his not allowing a IV when my mom became very uncomfortable the nurse had no choice but to give the same meds. My moms last moments alive were horrifying as she aspirated to her death with the nurse calling Dr. Younger back saying "She's dying, I need that IV now!" Possibly the last thing my mother heard. We have been very fortunate to have Dr. Younger's care and influence through some pretty serious episodes. He always knows what to do, the best specialist for the situation, and delivers accurate information in a personal and friendly way. He strives to care for us in a good fit for our personal goals. Do not promote him, he is where we want him.....available.
Best doctor I ever had. Very Knowledgeable. Has answers and reasons for the answers for any question you might ask. Very efficient, but always shows interest in the patient, and willing to spend as much time as necessary for you to understand your ailment and the proposed solution.
I like Dr. Younger. I go once a year for an annual physical. Insurance has always paid the entire bill. This recent visit Unity Point changed there billing and charges a doctors visit along my physical . So I had to pay $ 114.00 more to get a physical . We spent the same amount of time in visit. Shame on you Unity Point for making health insurance more costly for your new billing program. I feel very unhappy with this situation !

Dr. Younger is a teaching Dr. He wants his patients to know themselves and understand their care. I always walk away from my annual appointment with him very impressed. He appreciates my perspective and encourages the least invasive method to treat issues. I highly recommend Dr. Younger as a family care practioner.
Dr. Younger is AMAZING! He jumped in to our daughter's complicated medical situation head first and made sure everyone in the office was on board. He's exhibited an enormous amount of kindness and consideration not only to my daughter, but my husband and I as well. We couldn't ask for a more dedicated, professional doctor to work with.
Very rude inconsiderate uncaring can not wait to get you out of the room does not listen to what the patient has to say
