On the east side of the building is the rehab facility not to be confused with the assisted living apartments that occupy the main structure. My 88 year old Parkinson’s husband has been here twice in 6 months for rehab, first after a hip fracture, then recovering from pneumonia. I have spent many days here with him since he has very limited vision, poor hearing and dementia and can’t get out of a chair without help or even how to ask for it. Very clean and pleasing feel to this place. Aesthetically pleasing interior building design and structure. Residents seemed happy. Our tour guide, Heather, was very helpful and knowledgeable.
I would like to give a huge shout out to Marcie Walthers. Her friendliness and knowledge about navigating me through a situation I’ve been dealing with is above and beyond my expectations. Update: Really disappointed, with all the high stats was hoping this would be a good place for mom to rehab. The jury is still out on this care facility, hence the 2 stars, it’s dropping, originally I put a 3. The pharmacy is inadequate. On the day of arrival (Wednesday) the pharmacy did not process pain meds until 10-11pm (arrived from the hospital around 230. On Friday I asked if we could get something for inflammation , it was approved but was told it would not be available for her until Sunday - What the hell! I can go t... read more
