Shockingly good falafel and baba ganoush! I have lived and worked in the Middle East for many years and I have to say this was one of the best falafel sandwiches I've had anywhere. And it was on Canal Street in New Orleans! Highly, highly recommended.
Great place to stop for lunch or dinner after or before going to the Saenger Theatre. The Lebanese tea was so delicious & the Mediterranean food was fresh & the bomb. The baklava is a most have!
Just checked in at my hotel. Told them I was vegan and they recommended the hummus at Cleo’s. Short walk from the hotel. Super nice staff and they were right, the hummus is delicious. Note: the entry looks like a store so keep your eye out or you will shoot past it.

Sooooooo freakin good. Very happy to know that I can find vegan options on canal!!!! Check out the Lebanese Tea made with rose water, it will change your life.
I had the chicken shawarma with hummus and it was fabulous, but the tabbouleh salad was a revelation! Will definitely be back
