Got an Emergency? dont go, i ended up in the er with a septic infection on my left arm from the flu and covid shot somehow from the blue clinic dirty needle i suspect was terribly infected anyways misdiagnosed at this va er with nothing but take Tylenol I went to a local downtown er same night and they put me on antibiotics iv and then take home the va was forced to fill it at the pharmacy thru the same department that quickly dismissed a deadly infection and the emergency Dr neglected to give me any meds for my infection wi... read more

So I would say 6 or 7 out of 10 employees are professional and kind and are attempting to do a good job at this hospital. Then there are the bad apples like the ER doctor who, when I tried explaining my symptoms and pain level, said with absolute sass, "Do you want me to stay and talk to you or get your meds?" He is not in the right profession - to be that dismissive and just flippant when someone is in extreme pain and distress is just disgusting. The best Dr's. They work with you and help with all the details needed for caring for my dad. I would be lost without the amazing staff and providers we have. The Red team has never let us down. He has been with them for a year now since he moved from IL in with me. Dr Gernshart goes above and beyond to make sure my Dad's health is top priority but also cares that I'm a full time worker and now caregiver so he takes time to answer my questions, he calls back personally for results.
