I would recommend him highly. He operated on my Carpal Tunnel on June 14th, 2024 and today 2 weeks later I have no pain and am able to use my hand almost as much as 20 years ago. Still have slight tingling but he said it will go away in a couple weeks. Great doctor, surgeon and pleasant to discuss the issues with.

Dr. Cleland treated my 15 year old son after a baseball pitching history. Was very thorough and talked to my son like he was the patient instead of me as a parent. He also recommended a therapy that works directly with ball players. I would recommend him a million times over.

Two years ago, I broke my wrist really bad and had to have surgery. Dr. Cleland did an excellent job with the surgery. I can barely even see the scar. I also have full use of my hand and can move my wrist with no problem! Great work Dr. Cleland!! Thank you!

Referred by my PCP. Office is ran very well. Pleasant staff. Dr. Cleland knows what he is doing. I just didn’t feel like he was thorough enough with my injury. Never examined me or looked at the injured area on my body. Only looked at x-rays. For a specialist I expected more. But I feel he is a good doctor. Would of liked more explanation of what to expect going forward but I guess I should of asked more questions. Never had a broken bone before.

Was referred to this office by my family doctor. I can see why they come highly recommended. I was very happy with how quick I was scheduled for an appointment. The front office staff was very nice and got me back to see the doctor quickly. The XRay staff was very nice and the tech that took my history was very thorough. I would highly recommend this office.

Was sent to St. Clair Ortho for a hand problem. Saw Dr. Cleland and he was able to offer me a non surgery solution. I was very happy with him and with is staff. Everyone was very efficient and nice. It was a great office and I have since recommended it to two of my friends. I love that the docs in this office specialize in specific joint problems...it's a good feeling to have someone who specializes in your problem treat you.

Was referred to Dr. Dietz but was offered a sooner appointment with Dr. Cleland. He was so nice and was very thorough during my office visit. He recommended surgery and I have been miserable for so long that I am set for next week. So relieved to have an end to my pain in sight. The office staff has been great with scheduling my visit, during my visit and now scheduling my surgery as well. I would definitely recommend this office!

I was having a hand issue and had seen another doctor who only recommended rest. I went for a second opinion with Dr. Cleland and was happy to learn that an injection could help relieve some of the pain. I had a few visits and am now mostly pain free. I highly recommend his office. Yes they are busy, but the treatment and care by the docs makes it worth it.
